Sibol Bags IESF WEC 2023 MLBB Championship
The Philippines team (SIBOL) won the championship title at the IESF World Esports Championship 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament. They defeated Indonesia in a thrilling best-of-five series to claim the lion’s share of the USD 100,000 prize pool. This was the first clean sweep for the national SIBOL team, who had also won the qualifiers.
The Finals Best of 5 Series showcased how team Sibol was able to adjust after dropping their first game the entire tournament. The team took the next 3 games to take the championship.
The championship took place in Iași, Romania, and featured 16 international teams. Saudi Arabia came in third place, followed by Egypt in fourth.
