Riot Games has announced Soul Fighter

Riot Games has announced Soul Fighter, a six-week event taking over the world of Runeterra with in-game content coming to League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra. Soul Fighter is Riot Games’ tribute to the fighting game genre, taking inspiration from the deep emotional resonance and unique character moments from fighting games and anime tournament arcs.

The Soul Fighter event begins globally on Thursday, July 20 and ends on Monday, August 28. Players will get to experience all the action in the Soul Fighter event across four titles:

  • League of Legends:
    • New game mode: Arena
    • 12 new Soul Fighter skins
    • In-client metagame experience: Tournament of Souls
    • Brand new champion: Naafiri the Hound of a Hundred Bites
  • Teamfight Tactics:
    • New game mode: Soul Brawl
    • In-client narrative experience: The Choncc Dome
    • New Tacticians: Chibi Gwen and Chibi Soul Fighter Gwen (Mythic)
    • Tournament of Souls Arena
    • Soul Fighter Event Pass
  • League of Legends: Wild Rift:
    • New game mode: Tag Duel
    • 6 new Soul Fighter skins
    • In-client narrative experience
    • Nilah the Joy Unbound champion launch
    • Soul Fighter Event Pass
  • Legends of Runeterra:
    • New event pass
    • New skins: Soul Fighter Nidalee, Soul Fighter Viego, Soul Fighter Sett, Soul Fighter Samira, Soul Fighter Jhin, Soul Fighter Gwen, Soul Fighter Pyke, and Soul Fighter Evelynn
    • New emotes and cardbacks

From July 20 to August 28, Riot will contribute 20% of proceeds from Soul Fighter Samira, the Soul Fighter Event Pass, and all related bundle sales in League of Legends to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.

In celebration of the Soul Fighter event, Riot Games is also proud to present Soul Fighter: Fight Night, a broadcast experience featuring 16 content creators who will compete both in- and out-of-game for the chance to win the title of Fight Night Champion. The event will be hosted in Los Angeles, California, and livestreamed on Twitch on Monday, July 17 at 6:00PM PT.

For APAC players, migration of LoL/TFT accounts from Garena servers to Riot servers is still available on https://accountmigration.leagueoflegends.com/! However, migration will end for good on August 31st GMT +8 this year. Players should take this time to cross the line if they have not already.
