Smart and Dark League Studios moves forward to improve grassroots Esports

PLDT wireless subsidiary Smart Communication, Inc (Smart) has joined Esports events management and production team, Dark League Studios (DLS) to advance the local esports scene. Their partnership will drive growth and improvement the local grassroots league.

Smart and DLS will also work together to bring the excitement to and immersive gaming experience. Smart Giga Arena, the country’s first all-in-one Esports platform that offers different level of experiences to different range of Gamers.

This partnership will allow Smart to further grow the Giga Arean which has hosted over 2 million users in nearly 1,000 tournament, offering more than Php4.2 Million in Prizes.

The Partnership aims to improve the best practices with the partnership with Philippines Esports Organization (PeSO). This aims to improve the local grassroots league not only in terms of player base but also improving the overall condition of esports.
