The Die has been cast for MPL PH Season 12

The Die has been cast for MPL PH Season 12.

Finally after a very fast paced 6 weeks the MPL PH Season 12 regular season the die has been cast for the playoffs. The playoff teams looks eerily similar to season 11, but things are just getting exciting.

Bagging the top seed in the playoffs, Echo Esports, had an amazing run. The Orcas just dropped 2 games the entire season securely putting them in the top spot. Although the teams showed signs slowing down after the patch they banked on experience and coordinated team play to pull off amazing comeback through out the 6 week season 12.

Bagging the second spot is AP Bren. If there is one team that can match Echo’s experience in international competition it’s the Hive. 2023 has been an amazing year for AP Bren, bagging the SEA Games Gold Medal in MLBB and Winning the IESF World Championship. The Yellow and Black attack had a rollercoaster season 12. The were the favorites coming out of the gate before the major patch came out, but struggled after the release. Coach Duckey and the team found their way to the second spot in the playoffs.

RSG Slate the Dark Horse?

This is our little hot take for the season. The one team we feel that can play the role of the dark horse and spoil everybody’s plan, the team will be RSG Slate. Coach Panda and the boys are coming off a very solid season. His team is reaching their peak and maturing every week. The team did stop the wins streak of Echo. The Raiders has the uncanny ability to play up to their opponents. Which at this stage of the season, is something you need to get you over the hump and possibly in play for contention to the upcoming M5 World Championship happening in the country later in the year.

Things are just heating up and every team us raring to go. All we need to now is support our teams sit back and wait patiently for the action to unfold.
