MPL-KH Autumn Split returns offline, welcomes fans for the first time

The biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournament in Cambodia, the MPL-KH Autumn Split, will return offline for the first time on August 12, 2023. The tournament will be held at Monireth Blvd (217), Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

300 fans will be allowed to attend the Regular Season matches, which will be held on a first-come, first-served basis. All matches start at 12:00 (GMT+7).

This season is crucial for the Khmer teams as the top squad will represent the country in the upcoming M5 World Championship to be hosted by the Philippines.

“We saw the Cambodian athletes’ hunger during the recent MSC 2023, and we are excited to witness how far they can go to fight for the kingdom and eventually conquer the world of MLBB esports,” says MOONTON Games Head of Esports Ecosystem Ray Ng.

The MPL Cambodia Autumn Split 2023 will feature new faces and imports, with new teams D-Roar Legends and Team SV joining alongside powerhouses Burn x Flash, CFU Gaming, See You Soon, Pro Esports, Impunity KH, and Team Max.

Filipino imports will also partake in the tournament to shake up the competition further. Michael “MP the King” Endino and Clarense “Kousei” Camilo will join See You Soon, while Renz “Renzio” Cadua from Smart Omega will be part of Team Max’s roster. Lastly, Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara, formerly Burn X Flash’s gold laner, will now join PRO Esports.

The Regular Season will run for five weeks and all teams will undergo best-of-three (Bo3) match series in a single round-robin format. Burn X Flash and PRO Esports will meet for the opener on August 12, 2023.

The playoffs are scheduled from October 5-8, 2023. The top Khmer team to fight for the kingdom will represent the country in the upcoming M5 World Championship.

This year’s MPL-KH Autumn Split is presented by popular energy drink Sting and sponsored by lifestyle service platform WOWNOW and Legend Cinema. Indonesia-based instant noodle producer Indomie joins TikTok as the esports partners.
