PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, has unveiled a series of winter-themed features in its latest Version 3.5 Update. Running until January 7th, this update introduces an array of exciting enhancements, including the new Icemire Frontier, a fearsome Frostborne Dragon, hidden treasure vaults, and epic rewards. Players can dive into classic mode with new features like the PMGC Photo Spot, Dance Stage on Erangel’s Spawn Island, the M79 Smoke Grenade Launcher, and Horse mounts. Additionally, updates to World of Wonder, Metro Royale, and the return of a renowned sports car manufacturer bring fresh content to the battlegrounds.

Explore the Icemire Frontier

The centerpiece of the Version 3.5 Update is Icemire Frontier, a unique, chilling challenge spanning the Erangel, Livik, and Vikendi maps. Players can journey to Frostheim for intense battles in Chieftain’s Stronghold or venture into the Beast-Taming Grounds. The Magic Crystal Mines offer hidden rewards and Magic Crystal Crates containing game-changing supplies.

One of the highlights is the Dragon’s Lair in Erangel, where players can face off against the formidable Frostborne Dragon. Using an Ice Portal key, up to three teams can enter the lair, defeat the dragon, and unlock a special treasure vault. Notably, being knocked down in the Dragon’s Lair does not count as an elimination, allowing players to recover and secure the loot.

New Items and Mounts

Conquer the Frozen Wilds Icemire Frontier introduces several unique items, including the Frostsoul Spear, which allows players to teleport and create slowing ice fields, and the Frostsoul Warhammer, a melee weapon that generates defensive ice walls. Players can also experience new mounts like the Mammoth, capable of carrying up to four players with exposed weak points for strategic targeting, and the Sabertooth Tiger, a nimble two-player mount that supports mounted firing, drifting, and jumping for high-speed chases or escapes.

On Erangel’s Spawn Island, a vibrant Dance Stage invites players to engage in a Victory Dance while waiting for matches to begin. The update also adds horses, two-person mounts capable of traversing complex terrains, swimming, jumping, and engaging in mounted combat, to classic mode across multiple maps. Additionally, tactical options are expanded with the introduction of the M79 Smoke Grenade Launcher. To celebrate the upcoming PMGC 2024, special PMGC Photo Spots have been added in both Erangel and Livik, allowing players to capture memorable moments. Several classic gameplay elements have also been transformed with a PMGC theme in anticipation of the 2024 event.

World of Wonder Updates

Metro Royale Enhancements

Metro Royale welcomes a fierce new PvE enemy in the Version 3.5 Update, with the Sabertooth Tiger roaming Misty Port and Arctic Base. Winter Crates packed with valuable items appear in Misty Port and Arctic Base maps, and players can utilize the newly optimized Lock Box to store items strategically, enhancing coordination with the marking feature for supply crates.

Home Mode Additions

Home mode also receives exciting additions in the Version 3.5 Update. Arctic-themed music sets the winter mood, and players can now meet Lily, the charming new Home Butler, who comes with exclusive emotes and outfits. Winter-themed styles like Lavish Northern and Bay Cove Winter Castle are available for purchase or via Home Lucky Spin on specific dates. Players can merge identical furniture to increase Prosperity and Style Points, adding a strategic layer to Home management. The introduction of Item Recommendations in Editing Mode makes it easier to find new styles and bestsellers that players don’t yet own. The Frost Festival Event invites players to transform into snowballs for the Snowball Showdown. Cycle 7 Season 21 and Legendary Items

The Version 3.5 Update also introduces Cycle 7 Season 21, featuring new legendary items, including C7S21 Glasses, C7S21 Set, C7S21 Mask, C7S21 Cover, and C7S21 – MG3. The Season Token Event Shop now includes the C7S21 Parachute, and new tier rewards have been added for both the Classic and Casual Season.
