Visa Enters Partnership with MLBB for M7 World Championship
Global payments giant Visa has made its first move into esports through a major partnership with the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship (M7), officially joining as the Official Payment Partner of the tournament.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone for both the esports industry and MLBB, as Visa becomes one of the first global financial institutions to support a major mobile gaming world championship.
Targeting the Digital Youth Economy
The partnership taps into MLBB’s massive ecosystem, cementing its position as a mainstream entertainment property on par with traditional sports.
Visa’s entry focuses on reaching MLBB’s digitally active youth audience, with around 60% of its players aged 19 to 32. The company aims to integrate its secure digital payment solutions across the tournament ecosystem, promoting both financial inclusion and seamless online transactions.

“Having Visa onboard for the M7 World Championship is a huge milestone for the industry,” said Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships at MOONTON Games. “It shows how far MLBB and mobile esports have come—now attracting global, mainstream brands.”
Danielle Jin, Chief Marketing Officer, Asia Pacific, Visa, added, “We believe in empowering the next generation to pursue their passions by making digital payments simple, safe, and accessible.”
Exclusive Rewards for Fans
Beyond the partnership’s symbolic value, Visa is offering direct perks for MLBB fans during the M7 season. Visa cardholders will receive exclusive savings during the regular ticket sale period. Users can save 20% on ticket purchases during the regular sale.
Meanwhile, selected fans will get a chance to win premium experiences during M7. These include backstage tours, front-row seats, and meet-and-greets with MLBB personalities. Details for both campaigns will be released at a latter date.
