Virtus.Pro secure final MSC 2025 slot, group stage matchups revealed

RIYADH– The first-round matches of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup 2025 are now official, following Virtus.Pro’s emphatic 3-1 win over China’s Rare Atom to claim the final spot in the main stage.

The Eastern European side dominated the Wildcard Finals with strong macro plays and efficient drafts, making EECA one of only four regions with multiple representatives in the main tournament.

Egor “superegorka” Bugaev’s Kimmy led the charge in Game 1, tallying six kills and four assists. Virtus.Pro punished Rare Atom’s melee and artillery-heavy composition, with Ramadhoni “Donn” falling six times.

Rare Atom bounced back in Game 2, capitalizing on VP’s lack of early-game presence. Delvin “Lanaya” Gunawan’s Hayabusa snowballed the tempo with five kills and four assists to even the score.

Game 3 saw Rare Atom shift to a squishy lineup with Yi Sun-shin, Irithel, and Lunox—a decision Virtus.Pro capitalized on. Denis “BadKot” Bogomolov’s Phoveus ran rampant for 18 minutes, finishing with two kills and 15 assists.

Virtus.Pro closed the series in Game 4, locking in another Kimmy pick for Dmitry “Bober” Belyaev, who registered four kills and nine assists. They used their momentum to dominate the early-to-mid game, wrapping up the win in 20 minutes.

Rare Atom end their MSC 2025 journey in 17th place with a consolation prize of USD 41,000. Virtus.Pro, meanwhile, march into the main event as the final qualifier.
