Twisted Minds, Aurora, Liquid PH Score Wins as MPL PH Week 3 Heats Up

MAKATI — MPL Philippines Season 15 delivered an action-packed triple-header on Saturday at Green Sun Hotel, featuring two full series and a dominant sweep that shook the standings.

Twisted Minds PH finally broke into the win column, handing AP.Bren their fourth straight loss and arresting their five-game skid. Meanwhile, Aurora Gaming outlasted a resilient Smart Omega, and Team Liquid PH made a statement by sweeping defending champions ONIC PH.

Narrative Finally Twists for Twisted Minds

Twisted Minds PH struck first against AP.Bren, led by Michael “MP The King” Endino’s Alice. Channeling Coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza’s strategic flair from his Blacklist days, the squad relied on a jungler mage pick, with MP The King racking up three kills and 11 assists.

But Aurora bounced back in Game 3, securing a 15-9 victory. Edward’s Phoveus controlled team fights with two kills and 10 assists, while Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto’s Joy outmaneuvered Andrew “Andoryuuu” Flora’s Suyou, dominating Lord and Turtle objectives to seal the win.

Meanwhile, Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s Bruno revived his M6 menace status, tallying three kills and two assists, while Duane “Kelra” Pillas remained scoreless.

Game 2 saw ONIC PH put up a better fight, but a crucial Diversion play from Alston “Sanji” Pabico’s Luo Yi caught them off guard. Four ONIC players fell instantly near their own base, forcing Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez’s Valentina to defend alone. The effort proved futile as Liquid PH stormed in for the series-clinching win.

Sanji claimed MVP honors with eight assists, cementing Team Liquid’s dominance.
