Team Liquid, NAVI PH secure MWI 2025 playoff spots after topping group
RIYADH – It’s “stage 1 complete” for Team Liquid and Natus Vincere PH as both squads book their playoff tickets in the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2025.
Team Liquid pull off a reverse sweep against Natus Vincere Malaysia to finish 2-0 in Group A, while NAVI PH edge out Myanmar’s Terror Queens 2-1 to emerge as Group B leaders.

The day starts rough for Team Liquid as Nadiya Bahktita “Remund” Bacriun’s Belerick shuts down Trina “Ramicii” Ramos’ Joy and Zaira “Zaishii” Gilhang’s Zhuxin. Allysa “Daiki” Ventanilla also struggles in Game 1, conceding six deaths with her Lapu-Lapu pick.
But the response is swift. Ramicii bounces back in Game 2 with a flawless 6/0/6 Hayabusa performance as Liquid blow out NAVI MY 15-3. Hanis Wahidah “Hanie” Mohamad Dashuki’s Selena finds no momentum, while Zaishii’s Zetian contributes with three kills and eight assists.
In Game 3, Liquid ride the wave of momentum. Clarisse “CLA” Owari dominates with a seven-kill, five-assist outing on the Karrie, breaking through Remund’s Akai and Qurratul Ain Nurfarisha “Shaa” Bt Mohd Nizam’s Phoveus. The match ended in a 16-2 dismantling for TLPH.
NAVI PH snags win vs. Terror Queens
NAVI PH, meanwhile, start strong against the Terror Queens, delivering a flawless 20-0 opener. Kaye Maerylle “Keishi” Alpuerto leads the charge with a 6/0/10 Yi Sun-shin statline, while Rica “Amoree” Amores adds seven kills and five assists on Selena.
Terror Queens respond in Game 2, turning the tide with a punishing Gloo performance from Yadanar “Hlaingrina” Hlaing, who finishes with a 5/1/10 KDA. NAVI’s Mery “Meraaay” Vivero struggles in the clash, falling six times.
The Filipino squad reset in the decider. Sheen “Shinoa” Perez’s Melissa takes control with a 5/1/4 showing, while Gwyneth “not ayanami” Diagon locks down the lanes with a clean 4/0/5 Esmeralda performance to seal the series win.
With both teams topping their respective groups, NAVI PH and Team Liquid await their quarterfinal opponents as the MWI 2025 playoffs draw closer.
