Team Falcons’ Tempo Heading Into “The War”
MAKATI – “Don’t fight the feeling.”
In a game that evolves by the week, only a few teams can say they’ve weathered the storm. Team Falcons PH chose not to disappear with the trend—they adapted, endured, and thrived.
Season 15 saw the familiar six-man core take the stage under a new banner, marking their sixth straight season together. From the golden era of Bren to the AP.Bren resurgence, and now donning the green of Team Falcons PH, these players have done what few in MPL history could: stay relevant without hitting the reset button.
It felt like a “Don’t fight the feeling” moment—an instinctive move to trust what works and push forward. Yet just as EXO evolved across eras and albums, Falcons PH knew they had to shift, too—even if that meant flying without Coach Francis “Ducky” Glindro, who was absent during the initial Season 15 reveal, leaving Robert “Trebor” Sanchez to take the lead.
“Tempo’s changed, but we’re not done.”

Falcons PH came out firing, claiming five wins in their first seven matches. Their reverse sweep of defending champions ONIC Philippines in Week 2 was their “Power” moment—a high-energy statement that they weren’t just here to compete, but to control the tempo.
But as Patch 1.9.64 rolled in, things got Obsession-level complicated. Across four weeks, the team managed only three wins in seven games. Losses to AP.Bren and Aurora exposed concerns in mid-to-late game execution and draft flexibility.
Still, captain Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel etched his name deeper into MPL history with his 3,000th career assist in a 2–0 victory over TNC. But even legends must adjust. With the meta shifting to carry-centric midlaners, Pheww had to take on more risk. Despite ranking second in damage dealt per gold, his 70 deaths (tied second-most among midlaners) and a kill participation rate of just 67.7% reveal the toll of the evolving role.
Monster Super Marco
As the team recalibrated, one name stayed consistent: Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano.
His performance this season is a Love Shot—precise, lethal, unforgettable. In 34 games, he’s averaged 4.47 kills, a league-leading 1.12 deaths, and 3.53 assists, with a staggering 7.16 KDA—the third-highest among players who’ve played most of their team’s games.
His Granger? Virtually untouchable. Across 11 games, Super Marco tallied 64 kills and 44 assists with only 11 deaths, boasting an absurd 9.82 KDA. When he locks in, Falcons don’t just play—they dominate. He’s not just bulletproof; he’s their rhythm, their “Tempo.”
“Lucky One”—or something more?
Their playoff run begins with a rematch against TNC Pro Team—a team they’ve beaten twice. But despite TNC’s four-match skid, Falcons know better than to assume a Lucky One script.
Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson continues his steady transition, shifting from assassin-heavy picks like Joy to sustain-focused heroes like Lukas. His evolution may play a key role in how Falcons approach their drafts in the high-stakes best-of-five format.
While Trebor has held the fort admirably, the return of Coach Ducky—now overseeing all of Team Falcons’ SEA MLBB operations—might be the x-factor they needed. His presence could reignite the strategic edge this team thrives on.
“The Eve” of a new legacy
Team Falcons PH aren’t afraid. They’ve changed names and jerseys—but never their core identity. They are, in many ways, the EXO of MPL Philippines: a mainstay group that evolved without losing their soul. Carried by a core that still believes in their mission, in their synergy, and in their ability to rise—when it matters most.
The War, the Season 15 playoffs are here. For Team Falcons PH, it’s not just about proving they still belong. It’s about showing that reinvention is tradition—and this era? It’s far from over.
