HAMBURG— Razer just raised the bar for competitive gaming hardware.

The company officially unveiled the Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz and its Tenkeyless variant. This introduce next-gen analog optical switches and true 8000 Hz HyperPolling Technology that redefine input speed for esports professionals.

Built in collaboration with top-tier competitive players, the Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz delivers a record-breaking 0.58 ms latency, making it one of the fastest keyboards ever engineered for gaming.

8000 Hz Performance Benchmark

At the core of the Huntsman V3 Pro’s performance leap is the combination of Razer Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 and 8000 Hz HyperPolling.  This enables input reporting eight times faster than standard 1000 Hz keyboards. Razer claims this delivers an 11% faster response than its closest competitor.

Each switch offers deep customization for high-level play:

• Adjustable Actuation – Fine-tune keypress sensitivity between 0.1 mm and 4.0 mm.

• Rapid Trigger Mode – Enables instant key resets for quicker movement and firing in high-speed FPS titles.

• Razer™ Snap Tap – Prioritizes the most recent keypress to prevent overlap, allowing sharper directional transitions.

Engineered with Esports in Mind

The Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz was developed beyond lab conditions — with input from Counter-Strike legend Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, now a Team Razer Athlete. NiKo worked closely with Razer’s design team to perfect the keyboard’s competitive feel.

The CS legend hailed the Tenkeyless edition a model of “precision and reliability” for pro-level play.

Physically, Razer built the keyboard for durability and comfort under tournament stress. It features a 5052 aluminum alloy top case, pre-lubricated stabilizers, and a multi-function digital dial with dedicated control buttons for quick actuation adjustments — all without needing to minimize or exit a game.
