Pokémon Unite World Championship Series 2025 PH Qualifiers Set for April 5

The road to Anaheim begins as the Pokémon Unite World Championship Series 2025 Philippines Qualifiers kicks off on April 5.

Filipino Pokémon Unite teams will battle for the lone slot to represent the country at the Pokémon World Championships in California, with a USD 37,500 prize pool awaiting the top eight teams. The top eight teams will secure USD 1,000 in prize money, while the champion will take home USD 15,000 and receive travel awards to Anaheim.

This year’s tournament serves as a crucial test for both seasoned rosters and up-and-coming teams looking to make their mark on the global stage. With only one slot available, competition is expected to be fierce, especially with the rise of several promising teams in the local Pokémon Unite scene.

The qualifiers will take place over two days and follow a single-elimination, best-of-three format on Day 1, where only the top eight teams will advance to the second day. On Day 2, the competition shifts to a double-elimination, best-of-three format, including the grand final.

Teams looking to join the tournament can register until April 2, with a roster size of five to six players. Eligibility rules require at least three players to be Philippine residents, but teams can recruit up to three foreign reinforcements from the Asia-Pacific East Region (Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan).

With Anaheim on the horizon, all eyes are on the Philippines’ best Pokémon Unite squads to see who will rise to the occasion. Will a powerhouse team dominate the competition, or will a dark horse squad defy expectations?
