Blacklist, Elevate continue dominance as PKL Spring 2025 wraps up Week 2
PASIG — Blacklist International and Elevate proved once again why they are considered titans of the Philippine Honor of Kings scene as they finished Week 2 atop the Philippine Kings League (PKL) 2025 Spring Season standings.
The Codebreakers kept their spotless run alive, extending their unbeaten streak to five games, while the Red Rebellion secured two crucial series wins to claim the league’s top spot after two weeks.
Blacklist made quick work of their assignments, dispatching Team Flash PH in just over 25 combined minutes before dominating TNT Tropang Alab and Team Eureka to complete a perfect week.
Elevate, on the other hand, faced a tougher road. They survived a full three-game series against rivals BOOM Esports, with Mitsura and Fate leading a thrilling reverse sweep after dropping the opening game. Elevate then ended the week strong, sweeping ACT Esports Club behind another stellar performance from Fate.
Rough World Era Kadiliman (RWKD) opened their weekend with a solid 2-0 win over ACT but stumbled against BOOM Esports, suffering their first loss of the season and settling at third place.
BOOM Esports collected key wins against TNT Tropang Alab and RWKD, allowing them to finish Week 2 with a positive record despite their loss to Elevate.
Meanwhile, Team Eureka finally broke into the win column, handing Team Flash PH their fourth straight loss with a 2-1 victory. TNT Tropang Alab, however, remained winless after enduring two more sweep losses to close their Week 2 campaign.
Nine matches await fans as PKL enters Week 3, with Blacklist facing their biggest test yet against fellow HoK Invitational teams Elevate and RWKD in back-to-back matchups.
Team Flash PH, Team Eureka, and TNT Tropang Alab will also look to bounce back in Week 3. FLPH faces a tough assignment, battling two current top-four squads in RWKD and BOOM Esports, while Eureka and TNT will square off in a key Friday clash.
