ACT, Blacklist grab crucial wins; Elevate upsets BOOM

MAKATI — Week 5 of the Philippine Kings League Fall 2025 opens at Shooting Gallery Studios with three squads picking up important victories, including an upset that can shake the standings.

A.C.T. Esports Club swept Barcode Esports, Blacklist International handled Team Flash PH, and Elevate stunned BOOM Esports in a full three-game series.

ACT outlasts Barcode in opener

A.C.T. Esports Club, reinforced by their Thai duo, struck first against newcomers Barcode Esports. The series opener swung after a tense mid-game, with Ittiphat “Flukeyo” Rawangkan’s Agudo dictating the pace through four kills and nine assists in a 14–7 win that lasted 21 minutes.

Barcode answered strongly in Game 2, controlling much of the tempo and threatening to force a decider. But ACT’s patience paid off as a crucial late-game clash turned the tide. John Vincent “Metalwolf” Yao delivered the knockout blow with a perfect 5/0/2 Luna performance in just 17 minutes, sealing the 2–0 sweep.

Blacklist dispatches Team Flash

Blacklist International wasted no time in their showdown against Team Flash PH. The Codebreakers tore through their opponents in Game 1, needing less than 11 minutes to close it out. Justine Ritchie “Juschie” Tan’s Luna proved unstoppable, recording one kill and five assists.

Game 2 followed the same script, as Blacklist overwhelmed Flash in a 15–8 victory. Chammy Paul “Chammy1” Nazzarrea’s Liu Bang earned MVP honors with a four-kill, eight-assist stat line. Team Flash’s Jonathan Concee “Konsi” Berona struggled to keep pace, finishing with only a 1/4/2 showing on Consort Yu as Blacklist sealed a 2–0 sweep.

The final series saw Elevate Esports deliver one of their biggest results of the split by taking down BOOM Esports. The Wolves opened strong in Game 1 with Karl Ken “Karlll” Bautista’s Agudo orchestrating plays en route to a clean 17-minute win.

Elevate refused to back down in Game 2, clawing their way to a narrow victory. Sean Andrei “Hide” Baguino’s Guan Yu proved pivotal with four kills and six assists, while teammates John Phillex “Daniii” Bulanadi and Heri “Tatsurii” Garcia combined for all of BOOM’s five kills. With momentum swinging, Elevate rode that confidence into Game 3, closing out the series in 13 minutes. Eleazar “Azar” Salle starred with his Chano, finishing 3/1/9 and directly contributing to every ELV kill in the decider.

The Philippine Kings League resumes Saturday with another triple-header. WETRND Esports look to continue their form against TNT Tropang Alab, Barcode aim to bounce back against BOOM Esports, while Blacklist International collide with Elevate in a high-stakes clash.
