PKL Fall 2025: ACT, Boom, Blacklist assert dominance in sweep fashion
MAKATI — Day 3 of the Philippines Kings League (PKL) Fall Split 2025 was all about dominance, as ACT Esports Club, Boom Esports, and Blacklist International swept their respective opponents with convincing performances.
The three squads left no room for error, displaying composure in high-stakes clashes that reinforced their stature as top contenders in the ongoing split at Shooting Gallery Studios.
ACT crushes Barcode to earn second win
ACT Esports Club made quick work of Barcode Esports, executing a nearly flawless series from start to finish.
Game 1 began with ACT racing to a 4-0 kill lead within the first five minutes, dictating the pace and forcing Barcode onto the defensive. The turning point came at 14:10 in a clash near the Tyrant’s pit, where ACT eliminated Sl1mee’s Lian Po and Valdus’s Pei to secure full control of the map.
Taoz’s Yuhuan proved pivotal in the opener with a steady 2/0/7 MVP performance. Alongside him, Zeipee’s Flowborn and Astral’s Mai Shiranui also finished with perfect KDA records of 2/0/4 and 3/0/4, respectively. Barcode tried to recover but struggled to disrupt ACT’s coordination, leading to a decisive closeout.
In Game 2, Astral took center stage as Nuwa, earning MVP honors with a 2/0/6 stat line. A critical skirmish at 11:44 in the jungle, triggered by Taoz’s Lian Po initiation, swung the game heavily in ACT’s favor after three Barcode players were taken down. From there, the squad snowballed every objective and denied Barcode any breathing room.
By the 14-minute mark, ACT’s lead ballooned after another dominant clash near the Tyrant’s pit. The squad stormed Barcode’s base soon after, sealing the 2-0 sweep in commanding fashion.
Boom annihilates struggling Team Flash PH
Boom Esports showed no mercy against Team Flash PH, winning both games in lightning-quick fashion.
In Game 1, Boom patiently built momentum before Miggie’s Mayene initiated a mid-lane gank at 11:29 that caught Flash off guard, allowing Daniii to capitalize with a devastating triple kill on Ao Yin. That wipeout effectively ended Flash’s chances, with Boom cruising to victory in just 12 minutes while holding a 7K gold advantage. Daniii’s MVP performance (5/0/1) highlighted Boom’s sharp ability to punish every mistake.
Game 2 told a similar story, only with even more ruthless efficiency. By the 7:30 mark, Boom had already demolished the bottom turret and built an 8-2 kill lead alongside a 6K gold advantage. At 11:10, Miggie sparked another key play with a tower dive on Biron, creating openings for his teammates to secure kills and objectives.
Tatsurii’s Princess Frost claimed MVP honors with a polished 2/0/10 performance, while Karlll’s Jing (4/0/7) and Daniii’s Marco Polo (5/0/4) added to the highlight reel. Boom wrapped up the sweep in under 12 minutes once again, stamping their authority as one of the most dangerous squads in the split.
Blacklist overpowers Elevate to stay spotless
Blacklist International closed the day with another statement series, overwhelming Elevate with discipline and pinpoint execution.
Game 1 was a close affair in terms of kills, but Blacklist relied on their ability to prioritize objectives over flashy plays. At 11:35, a coordinated jungle clash led by Chammy1’s Biron and Juschie’s Pei dismantled Elevate’s frontline, eliminating Azar’s Ao Yin, Hide’s Guan Yu, and Haru’s Augran in one sweep.
Despite the scoreboard showing only a narrow 7-8 kill difference, Blacklist’s map control and vision gave them the edge. Juschie walked away with MVP honors after a clean 3/0/3 performance, proving that efficiency and timing can outweigh raw kill counts.
Game 2, however, was where Blacklist’s superiority fully shined. By the 10-minute mark, the squad had already built a 4K gold lead and dictated every lane. Elevate tried to contest in the jungle but was consistently outmaneuvered, suffering a string of costly deaths that snowballed the game further in Blacklist’s favor.
At 14:22, Chammy1’s Mayene set up a decisive engagement that allowed Blacklist to dismantle Elevate’s last line of defense. With Chammy1 posting a 3/1/7 MVP performance and Juschie’s Augran delivering a flawless six-kill outing, Blacklist closed the match at 15 minutes with a convincing 12-4 kill score.
High-stakes showdowns ahead
