RIYADH — M6 World Champions ONIC Philippines prove too much for North America’s Area 77, sweeping the series 2-0 to stay alive in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025.

The Super Family bounce back from their shocking 1-2 defeat against Aurora Türkiye with renewed form and focus on Day 4 of the tournament.

Area 77 stayed competitive for the first ten minutes of Game 1, with Rainiel Jhim “URESHI” Logronio’s Hilda securing two early kills. But momentum shifted after Duane “Kelra” Pillas’ Harith found crucial takedowns beyond the 10-minute mark, setting up King Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez’s Lancelot to claim the Lord.

From there, ONIC PH pressed the advantage, wrapping up Game 1 in just 14 minutes. Kelra and Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez combined for seven kills and eight assists without a single death.

Game 2 was a one-sided affair, with ONIC PH overwhelming Area 77 with 23 kills in under 12 minutes. Lance Gabriel “Shiro” Nones’ Suyou struggled against the pressure, falling seven times and managing only two assists.

K1NGKONG snowballed with a dominant 14/0/6 performance on Yi Sun-shin, while Super Frince’s Faramis and Borris “Brusko” Parro’s Gatotkaca fueled the tempo with a combined 29 assists and four kills.

With the victory, ONIC PH advance to a do-or-die matchup against Malaysia’s HomeBois, who earlier fell 0-2 to playoff-bound Team Spirit.

In other results, Team Flash eliminated Chinese qualifier champions DianFengYaoGuai in a 2-0 sweep, while RRQ booked a playoff spot with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Aurora Türkiye.
