ONIC Philippines claims maiden Snapdragon Pro Series APAC crown after sweep of ONIC Indonesia
JOHOR BAHRU, Malaysia – In a battle between two sister teams, only one could emerge victorious.
And this time, the Super Family from the Philippines stood tall, completing their mission against their brothers, the Sky Kings from Indonesia in dominant fashion.
ONIC Philippines continued their quest for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang mythical status as they swept ONIC Indonesia, 4-0, to claim the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC Challenge Finals trophy on Sunday.
ONIC PH Makes History in Johor
Inside a packed Persada Johor International Convention Centre, the Super Family proved their dominance, dismantling the Season 3 champions with a flawless performance.
This historic victory also marked the first time a team from the Open Qualifiers Finals stage has won the tournament since ESL introduced its current qualification format.

Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez made the most of his comfort pick Fanny, which slipped past the ban phase. The star jungler delivered a masterclass in Game 1, securing three kills and four assists in a dominant 14-2 victory within just 11 minutes.
Meanwhile, ONIC ID’s Gilang “SANZ” and Nicky Fernando “Kiboy” Pontonuwu struggled to find an answer, as ONIC PH’s aggressive play shut them down completely.
In Game 2, Jann Kirk “Kirk” Gutierrez stepped up, earning the MVP nod with his Cici pick. The EXP laner finished with a 1/1/9 performance in a 12-minute stomp, as ONIC PH extended their lead with a 12-4 scoreline.
Kelra’s Monster Performance Seals the Deal
The star of Game 3 was none other than Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas, who delivered a monstrous performance on Harith. The gold laner racked up seven kills and four assists, leaving ONIC ID’s Clayton Adrielo “Savero” Kuswanto’s Irithel helpless, managing only one kill and three assists.
Kelra wasn’t done yet. In Game 4, he put on a show with Granger, securing another seven-kill performance to close out the series with a 10-1 victory.
ONIC ID simply had no answers, as both Kiboy and Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol became non-factors, while only Borris “Brusko” Parro fell, thanks to Moch Lutfi “Lutpi” Ardianto’s Cici.
ONIC PH not only bagged US$65,000 in prize money but also claimed their third championship in just five months, cementing their status as one of the best teams in the history of MLBB esports.
