Can ONIC PH Stay Gold?

MAKATI – For the past eight to nine months, ONIC Philippines have been the most dominant team in all of MLBB. Since the start of Season 14, they’ve been in their Dynamite era—lighting up every stage they stepped on and collecting every trophy within reach.

In just half a year, they’ve secured the MPL Philippines Season 14 crown, the M6 World Championship, the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC Challenge Finals, and the Snapdragon Mobile Masters title.

Season 15 brought a new battlefield, but the Super Family remained locked in, determined to protect their legacy and chase down the final pieces of their trophy cabinet.

“Spring Day” Changes

ONIC PH’s roster reveal came with little fanfare—no major mic drop, just a farewell to Brian Milez “Spider-Milez” Santos and the nostalgic return of Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales after two and a half years.

But their title defense hit early turbulence. After an opening win over TNC, they stumbled through three straight defeats at the hands of Aurora Gaming, Team Falcons PH, and Team Liquid PH.

It felt like a Spring Day—a cold stretch, a reminder that even the best can face storms. But this team didn’t fold. They found their rhythm, regrouped, and came back swinging.

“Fire” Reignited

From that moment on, ONIC PH lit a fire. They rattled off 10 straight match wins—the longest streak of Season 15. Six of those were clean 2–0 sweeps. For context, top-seeded Team Liquid PH had only five sweeps over the same stretch.

ONIC weren’t just back—they were on fire, once again proving they’re the real Bangtan of MPL PH: powerful, synchronized, and impossible to ignore.

Idol Kelra

In his Euphoria arc, Duane “Kelra” Pillas is arguably having his best season since the league adopted its franchise model. Across 34 matches, he’s averaged 4.74 kills, 1.26 deaths, and 3.68 assists—good for a team-leading 6.65 KDA. That places him fourth in kills, tied for second in least deaths, and fourth overall in KDA.

But the numbers don’t stop there. Kelra contributes nearly 28% of ONIC’s gold and accounts for 32% of their total damage output, placing him fifth in the league.

His Harith? Practically a cheat code. With 10 wins in 13 games—and a seven-game undefeated stretch boasting a 14.5 KDA—his mastery is unmatched.

Super Frince and the “Magic Shop”

Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez continues to be ONIC’s steady hand. He’s averaged a solid 6.47 KDA this season, delivering consistent impact from the midlane. His Pharsa, in particular, has been Butter-smooth, notching five wins in seven games.

He may not always be the flashiest, but like the Magic Shop, he gives his team exactly what they need—a calming, reliable presence in high-pressure moments.

“Run” Mode Activated

ONIC PH sits comfortably in third place heading into the playoffs, but Twisted Minds PH lurks close behind. Despite sweeping them earlier this season, ONIC knows better than to be complacent—TWIS has a reputation for springing surprises late in the season.

Still, this team thrives in pressure. With the meta now favoring sustain-heavy heroes and mid-to-late game brawls, veterans like Kelra and rising stars like King Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perezare more than ready to adapt and thrive.

They’re not just here to defend a title—they’re here to chase something more.

Staying Gold

Every match ONIC PH plays is a reminder: greatness isn’t a finish line—it’s a mindset.

The streaks, the titles, the dominance—they’re milestones, not the finale.

For the Super Family, the most beautiful moment isn’t behind them. It’s the next fight, the next win, the next walk under the lights.

Because legends don’t just shine—they Stay Gold.

And ONIC PH? They’re not done glowing yet.
