ONIC PH books Snapdragon Mobile Masters playoff spot; Falcons PH score key win over MENA counterparts
JAKARTA, Indonesia — Filipino powerhouse ONIC Philippines became one of the first two teams from Group A to lock in a playoff berth in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025, sweeping both Papara SuperMassive and Influence Rage on Tuesday.
Team Falcons PH, meanwhile, bounced back from a shaky Day 1 with a dominant 2-0 win over their MENA-region counterparts, Team Falcons, keeping their playoff hopes alive heading into the final day of the group stage.
Super Family flies to flawless 4-0 slate
ONIC PH continued their dominant run in Jakarta, dismantling Papara SuperMassive in two lopsided games before flexing their championship form in a high-octane series against Latin American squad Influence Rage.
Against the Turkish side, ONIC wasted no time. Duane “Kelra” Pillas’ Irithel rained down fire from the gold lane in Game 1, posting an 8/1/4 statline en route to MVP honors in a sub-15-minute win. In Game 2, the Sonics unleashed their signature comfort pick as Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez got his hands on Fanny. The former amateur standout zoomed through the rift with six kills and three assists in just 11 minutes, sealing the sweep.
ONIC faced stiffer resistance from Influence Rage, but the M5 world champions were more than up to the task. Despite early aggression from the Latin Americans, Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez anchored the squad in Game 1 with a jaw-dropping 10/0/9 performance on Zhuxin in a 26-8 rout.
Game 2 saw K1NGKONG once again run the show. With his Suyou in peak form, he registered 11 kills and six assists while also securing every major objective on the map, guiding ONIC to an 18-8 finish.
With a 4-0 record and 11 points in hand, ONIC PH now set their sights on Indonesian powerhouse Bigetron Alpha to close out their group stage campaign.
Falcons PH overpower MENA squad to stay in contention

Team Falcons PH made a statement on Day 2, making quick work of their namesake from the Middle East and North Africa region with back-to-back dominant victories.
In Game 1, Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano led the charge with an explosive Granger performance, tallying five kills and six assists as the Filipino squad cruised to an 18-4 finish in under 12 minutes. Mohamed “Koba” AbdRabuo’s Harith struggled to find footing against the relentless pressure from the Filipino backline.
Game 2 was even more brutal. Falcons PH closed the series with a 23-4 stomp, highlighted by Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson’s 11/1/3 rampage on Lukas — a statement game that kept their playoff dreams alive with three points from the sweep.
Team Falcons PH, now at 2-1, will face a challenging Day 3 as they go up against Brazilian dark horses Alpha7 Esports and MPL Indonesia giants RRQ Hoshi in must-win matches.
