AP.Bren managed only a single turret as James “JamesPangks” Mendoza endured a tough opener, finishing with three deaths and no kills.

Game 2 saw AP.Bren put up a stronger fight, securing all three Turtles and finding better rhythm behind JamesPangks’ Joy. However, ONIC once again closed the door, ending the series in 14 minutes.

Kirk shined once more, this time on Arlott with 12 assists, while Kelra’s Harith and King Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez’s Lancelot combined for 11 kills.

ONIC improved to 2-0 heading into their clash against Aurora Gaming on Saturday, while AP.Bren dropped to 1-2 and looked ahead to their meeting with TNC Pro Team next week.

Aurora overcomes Liquid PH in three-game thriller

Aurora Gaming opened strong against Team Liquid PH, closing out Game 1 in under 15 minutes behind Jan Dominic “Domengkite” del Mundo’s Harith (6/1/6) and Dylan “Light” Catipon’s flawless Hylos, who assisted all 15 team kills.

Liquid, however, struck back in Game 2 with a blistering 10-minute victory. Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s Fredrinn anchored the squad’s dominance, while Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s Granger picked up five kills as Liquid swept all nine turrets and controlled every major objective.

The decider stretched to 26 minutes, with Aurora holding the early lead until Liquid seized momentum with a 22-minute Lord take. Despite the 10k gold deficit, Aurora capitalized on a late base defense as Light’s Hylos and Yue’s Novaria soaked cooldowns.

A decisive counterattack saw Aurora wipe out Liquid’s three members, leaving KarlTzy and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya unable to mount a comeback.

With the upset, Aurora climbed to 1-1 and aimed to sustain momentum against ONIC Philippines. Liquid fell to 1-2 and prepared for a Sunday clash against Twisted Minds PH.
