Coach Kristoffer Ed “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza’s young squad showed their bite early, claiming Game 1 in just 14 minutes. Michael “MP the King” Endino’s Hayabusa (7/1/8) led the way, backed by Miguel “Sionnn” Alcantara’s Kagura with five kills and six assists. Twisted Minds dominated the map, taking every turtle and lord while conceding only three turrets.

AP.Bren fought back in Game 2, answering with a 13-minute victory. Jan Carl “Shizou” Valdez’s Harith erupted for 11 kills and six assists, while James “JamesPangks” Mendoza bounced back with a flawless 5/0/10 Hayabusa performance.

But Twisted Minds had the last laugh. Their Hylos pick disrupted AP.Bren’s flow, and the Hive collapsed under a 19-3 kill deficit in a sub-12-minute Game 3. Sionnn once again took center stage with an 8/0/8 Kagura outing, while John Carlo “Caloy” Roma dished out 13 assists on the Kalea.

With the victory, Twisted Minds closed Week 1 on top of the table at 2-0, while AP.Bren settled for third at 1-1.

Meanwhile, Team Liquid PH finally broke through, sweeping TNC Pro Team for their first win of the season.

Game 1 ended in 16 minutes as Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s Yi Sun-shin carried the load with eight kills and six assists, including a four-piece finish to close the map. Alston “Sanji” Pabico’s Pharsa added three kills and seven assists, while TNC struggled to find answers with Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog’s Gatotkaca.

Game 2 turned into a slugfest, stretching to 22 minutes. Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales’ Karrie sparked hope for TNC with seven kills, including a flashy solo takedown of Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s Harith. But a risky backdoor attempt left him absent from a crucial Lord fight, allowing Sanji to shut the door on the comeback.

With TNC wiped, Liquid marched forward to secure the Lord and the series.

KarlTzy once again earned MVP honors with a 4/2/4 Yi Sun-shin outing, supported by Oheb’s Harith tallying three kills.

TNC Pro Team will try to bounce back against Team Falcons PH on Saturday, while Team Liquid PH face Aurora Gaming on Friday.
