MOONTON Games, the publisher behind the wildly successful Mobile Legends: Bang Bang franchise, is taking a bold new step into the RPG genre with the launch of global pre-registration for Silver and Blood, a gothic vampire aesthetic role-playing game with an emphasis on dark fantasy storytelling and tactical combat.

Unveiled on April 25 with its first official teaser, Silver and Blood invites players into a meticulously crafted universe filled with myth, melancholy, and mystery. This new IP features a unique nine-grid turn-based combat system that blends traditional RPG strategy with the thrill of real-time decision-making. Pre-registration is now open worldwide, with milestone rewards including premium in-game currencies Moon Tears and Soothing Embrace, alongside the exclusive SSR vassal Hati.

A Lunar World of Blood and Shadows

The game’s narrative follows Noah, a young man condemned as a heretic during a deadly plague in 1353, only to be rescued by a mysterious vampire girl. His salvation marks the beginning of a greater journey tied to the mythical Blood Clan—descendants of thirteen ancient alchemists who consumed the blood of the First Dead, gaining immortality through memory transfer.

Their ultimate goal: a return to the Moon, their ancestral homeland.

Standing in their way is the Chronos Church, an order founded by a girl who discovered a universal truth through an oracle: “only time is equal, only cycles are eternal.” Taking the name of the time deity Aionos, she dedicates her life to restoring heretical souls to the cycle of life and death. This clash of ideologies forms the backbone of Silver and Blood’s rich narrative tapestry.

Tactical Depth Meets Aesthetic Brilliance

What sets Silver and Blood apart is its Lunar Phase System, a gameplay mechanic where vassals align with one of three moon attributes—New Moon, Half Moon, and Full Moon. By activating special moves and aligning all three phases in battle, players can trigger the Blood Moon Descend, a dramatic transformation that supercharges team damage and energy regeneration.

Combat is enhanced further with relic customization, skill upgrades, and the “Soul Devouring Ritual” that strengthens each vassal’s Blood Power. With more than 50 vassals across four major factions, players can experiment with endless strategies and synergies.

Each vassal features their own rich backstory, visual design, and combat role, and the game encourages creative lineup building for PvE and PvP content alike.

Silver and Blood is a visual marvel, fully embracing a gothic watercolor aesthetic that brings its dark medieval world to life. Hand-drawn chapter illustrations, low-saturation color palettes, and atmospheric stage design turn every scene into an artistic showcase. The experience is further elevated by the original soundtrack composed by Yasunori Nishiki, best known for his work on Octopath Traveler and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.
