Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to get animated series with TLBBS, Base Media
MOONTON Games is bringing the world of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to a new frontier as it teams up with The Little Black Book Studios (TLBBS) and Base Media to produce an animated series based on the global hit mobile MOBA.
TLBBS will produce the series, in collaboration with Base Media, the acclaimed studio behind Ne Zha 2 and Marvel/Disney+’s Daredevil reboot. The same award-winning animation and VFX team will helm the project, translating MLBB’s iconic heroes and landscapes into an immersive animated experience.

Hollywood talent meets Southeast Asian IP
Ross Leo, Co-Founder of TLBBS, called the project their “most ambitious to date.” He emphasized the scale of adapting a game with a massive global following and praised the collaboration between Hollywood and regional creatives.

Expanding the MLBB universe
For MOONTON Games, this marks a major step in expanding their storytelling into new platforms. The team is using the series to explore fresh narratives and connect with a broader audience.

More than just a series
The project also includes a comprehensive marketing campaign, along with a planned merchandise line. Future announcements will include more details on the show’s title, release date, and distribution platform.
