MLBB Celebrates 9th Anniversary with P.ACE Skins, New 1v1 Mode
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) kicks off its ninth anniversary celebration with the launch of the “9th to Meet You” festival, the biggest annual event for players around the world.
Running from October 9 to November 17, the festival introduces new content, exclusive skins, and a fresh 1v1 game mode to mark nine years of global success.
P.ACE Skins Take the Spotlight
Leading the 9th Anniversary festival is the debut of the P.ACE girl group skins. The series featured Fanny, Cici, and Zhuxin, with Lolita joining as their biggest fan. The skins form part of a new storyline titled “Stardust Echoes,” which brings together music, magic, and courage in a multiverse setting.
Each hero’s design represents positivity and unity — themes that continue to define MLBB’s global community. Players can obtain the skins through in-game events and special missions during the festival.
New Game Mode and Events
The festival also introduces the 1v1 Mode, allowing players to challenge each other in direct duels for exclusive rewards.
Alongside this, the Fun Guessing Event lets fans earn Fun Guessing Coins by predicting match outcomes or outperforming opponents. Guess coins can be exchanged for anniversary items for a limited time.
A Global Phenomenon in Mobile Esports
Since its 2016 launch, MLBB has grown into one of the world’s most dominant mobile titles. Since its beginnings, it maintained a nine-year streak atop Southeast Asia’s gaming charts. The game now reaches 190 countries, with over 1.5 billion registered users and 110 million monthly active players.
Its esports ecosystem continues to thrive, with major tournaments like the M-Series World Championship and Mid Season Cup (MSC) setting global milestones. The M6 World Championship recorded 4.12 million peak viewers. Meanwhile, the MSC 2025 at the Esports World Cup logged 3 million peak concurrent viewers and 50 million watch hours. Both events secured MLBB’s place among the top ten most-watched esports events ever.
MLBB’s success also extends to international sporting recognition. The title remains one of the few mobile esports to be featured as a medal event at both the Southeast Asian Games and the upcoming 2026 Asian Games, following record-breaking viewership in both the men’s and women’s divisions at the 32nd SEA Games.
MLBB’s Legacy Continues
As the game enters its tenth year, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang continues to strengthen its position as a leader in mobile gaming and esports.
The game aims to further unite players, creators, and fans under one global community.
