Eight teams stay unbeaten as MDL Philippines Season 6 group stage ends
MANILA — The MLBB Developmental League Philippines Season 6 wraps up its group stage after two weeks of action, with eight teams emerging unbeaten heading into the seeding rounds.
All 16 teams played three matches each, with standings now set to determine a redraw into new groups of four. From there, the squads will battle under a GSL format to finalize their seeding for the knockout stage.
Group A: Rough World make smooth run
AP.Bren Rough World Era stood out as the only squad not to drop a single game, sweeping their way through the group. Veteran roamer Reginald “Regi” Baluyot earned MVP nods in half of their wins, while Ron Matthew “Matt” Papag and Jhondy “Nibor” Ranque carried strong showings of their own.
FAITH Colleges Bravehearts edged KNN Main for the second spot after their 1-1 draw, while Twisted Minds Bear crashed to the bottom without a single game win — including a lopsided under-10-minute loss to BRVE.
Group B: Uncle Drew, TL Academy split top

Uncle Drew Gamerpact and Team Liquid PH Academy finished tied on five points apiece after sweeping H-G Rock Prime and Team Falcons Academy, then splitting their head-to-head 1-1. UDG, however, secured the tiebreak thanks to a faster victory time.
H-G Rock Prime salvaged third place behind the heroics of Alejan “Zekesuu” Espera and John Rhyle “Rhylie” Lansigan in their lone win over Falcons Academy.
Group C: Aurora Hunters edge the pack
Aurora Hunters topped Group C after a gritty campaign that saw only two sweeps across all matches.
Both Aurora and Martial Mayhem took 2-0s over ONIC x Minerva, then drew their matches with ORVZ Esports. Aurora claimed first with the faster win over Martial.
ORVZ settled for third after three straight 1-1 draws, while ONIC x Minerva languished at the bottom with a single win on opening day.
Group D: RRQ Kaito reigns supreme
RRQ Kaito flexed dominance with five points out of six, only dropping a draw to TNC x Voltes in their opening series. They later swept Crimson Esports and Flair Esports to secure top seed.
TNCV earned second place after a 1-1 against Crimson, while the Cebuano squad climbed to third on the back of John Mark “JMac” Matus and Diode “Dioo” Donoso’s standout play. Flair, still without a win, joined TM Bear and OXM as the three winless squads of the stage.
Seeding rounds loom larger
With new groups to be drawn, every match in the next stage carries heavier weight.
A win means momentum and better knockout placement, while a loss could send teams tumbling down. The format will now employ a best-of-three series, offering redemption but also demanding endurance.
Season 6 of MDL Philippines is shaping into another classic — with the crown wide open and no clear frontrunner yet.
