Jakarta to Host M7 World Championship as MOONTON Reveals Schedule and realme Partnership
JAKARTA, Indonesia— The stage is set for the biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event yet as MOONTON Games unveiled the full schedule for the M7 World Championship, alongside the announcement of realme 15 Pro as the tournament’s official gaming phone.
All roads lead to JKT
Indonesia’s capital will be the battleground when the seventh edition of MLBB’s world championship kicks off in January 2026.
With the theme “Let the World See Us,” the M7 will bring together 22 of the best teams across the globe. Jakarta is expected to showcase the same passionate energy that has made the country a cornerstone of MLBB esports.
The tournament schedule lays out a clear path to glory:
-
Wild Card Stage (Jan 3–6): Eight teams fight for two spots in the main stage.
-
Swiss Stage (Jan 10–17): Sixteen squads clash with only eight advancing.
-
Knockout Stage (Jan 18–24): A high-stakes bracket determines the finalists.
-
Grand Finals (Jan 25): Two teams battle for the world title and a place in MLBB history.
realme 15 Pro Joins the Fight

Adding fuel to the hype, MOONTON announced a partnership with realme, naming the realme 15 Pro as the official gaming phone of M7. The device features a Snapdragon 7 Gen4 chipset, 7000mAh battery, and AI Gaming Coach features. The manufacturers designed these specs to handle the intensity of world-class MLBB competition.
“Partnering with realme is a strategic step as we aim to make the M7 the largest M Series yet,” said Martinus H Manurung, Head of ID Business Development at MOONTON Games. “More importantly, this allows us to showcase Indonesia—the home of the most passionate MLBB community—as a leading esports hub.”
Building on M6’s Legacy
The M7 follows the record-breaking M6 World Championship, which propelled MLBB to the top of mobile esports viewership in 2024.
The last world championship saw Fnatic ONIC Philippines prevail against Team Liquid ID. Esports Charts tallied 475 million hours watched and a 4.1 million peak concurrent viewership.
With Jakarta hosting and realme on board, expectations are high that M7 will set new benchmarks for the scene.
