Honor of Kings-themed trains roll on LRT-1 for HOK Invitational S3; Loonie, Abra collab for tournament theme song
MANILA – Honor of Kings Philippines has launched its first-ever railway activation, transforming the Metro Manila LRT Line 1 into both a tribute and promotion to the upcoming Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3.
Several HOK-themed train liveries will run until March 9, building anticipation for the highly awaited Group Stages and Grand Finals Weekend at SM North EDSA’s The Block.
Three Filipino teams to defend the home ground
Fans can witness top-tier competition as Blacklist International, Elevate, and Rough World Era battle for supremacy in this international showdown against nine other teams from around the world. The tournament is free for all attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Pag-asa ng Pinas” to feature two Pinoy rap stars
Adding to the excitement, renowned Filipino rappers Raymond “Abra” Abracosa and Marlon “Loonie” Peroramas have joined forces with Honor of Kings to create the S3 exclusive theme song, “Pag-Asa ng Pinas.”
The official music video will premiere on February 22, featuring a mystery guest who will be revealed during the launch.
When asked about the collaboration, Abra expressed his enthusiasm:
“Syempre H-OK siya! Ok siya!” (It’s H-OK! It’s okay!)
Meanwhile, Loonie shared his excitement about being part of the project:
“Gamer din ako, I feel honored to be one of the representatives of HOK. Balita ko itong game na to ang isa sa mga orig, kaya nakakatuwa na ma-associate sa laro na to.”
(I’m also a gamer. I feel honored to be one of the representatives of HOK. I heard this game is one of the OGs, so it’s exciting to be associated with it.)
Both artists were amazed by the scale of the production, with Loonie adding:
“Nakakagulat! Isa to sa pinakamalupet at pinakamaangas na shoot na napuntahan ko.”
(I was surprised! This is one of the coolest and most intense shoots I’ve ever been on.)
February 22 Release for S3 PH Theme Song
Fans can look forward to the official release of “Pag-Asa ng Pinas” on February 22, further heightening the hype leading up to the Grand Finals.
Meanwhile, the Honor of Kings LRT Line 1 train livery will continue its rounds across Metro Manila until March 9.
