The KME and KMW each feature seven powerhouse teams, handpicked from some of the most competitive regions in global esports.

In the Major East League, the roster includes Nongshim RedForce from South Korea, Crazy Raccoon and SCARZ representing Japan, and a strong contingent from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) with Gen.G Esports, R8 Esports, and Astar Esports. CMF Esports will represent South Asia.

Meanwhile, the Major West League brings together OG Esports and Twisted Minds from Western Europe, Boars Gaming representing Eastern Europe, and BloodThirstyKings alongside Level Max Club from North America. Latin America’s hopes rest with 9z Globant and AYLO GAMING.

Together, these fourteen teams represent the best from their respective regions, all vying for a $50,000 prize pool per league and a shot at international glory.

Tournament Format: Three Weeks to Victory

Both the KME and KMW tournaments follow a three-week structure designed to spotlight the most consistent and high-performing teams. The competition begins with the Group Stage, known as Ranking Week, where each team faces every other team once in a single round-robin format.

All matches during this phase are best-of-three (BO3), and by the end of the week, the top three teams progress to the higher-tier Group S while the remaining four compete in Group A. The intensity ramps up in Week 2, called Survival Week, which features a double round-robin format with matches played as best-of-five (BO5).

Based on their performance, teams then qualify for the Knockout Stage in the third week. This final phase follows a double-elimination bracket with BO5 matches, except for the Grand Final, which is a best-of-seven (BO7) showdown.

To complete the tournament cycle, a Last Call phase determines the final slot at the KIC. In this round, the second-place teams from KME and KMW face off against the Wildcard Series (WKS) champion in a best-of-two round-robin. The top team from this phase moves on to a BO7 final where the winner claims the last available spot at the KIC.
