Four Special Challengers Join HoK Open Series Split 4 for PKL Fall Slot
ACT Esports Club, Elevate, Rough World Era, and Team Nemesis are back in the spotlight as Special Challengers for the Honor of Kings Open Series Split 4 – Philippines, each vying for a coveted spot in the upcoming Philippines Kings League (PKL) Fall Split.
Their return brings not only familiar names to fans but also added firepower to what’s shaping up to be one of the most competitive splits yet.
Seeded directly into the Play-In Stage, these squads will go head-to-head with the country’s top grassroots standouts, underdog contenders, and community-favorite teams—each hungry to take down seasoned squads and make their mark.
ACT, Elevate, and Rough World Era bring with them battle-tested experience from the PKL Spring Split, offering a crucial edge in both strategy and stage presence.
Meanwhile, Team Nemesis earned their place through sheer determination in the grassroots-level Dayo Series, claiming a Special Qualification slot.
Split 4 runs from August 2 to 10, 2025, and serves as the final Open Series event of the year under TiMi Studios and Level Infinite’s global initiative to discover rising stars and fuel grassroots development in Honor of Kings esports. 15 teams from the first round of the open series were divided into four groups, with the top teams from each group directly qualifying to the playoffs.
The second-placed teams will go to the Special Challenger Stage, where they will face the four aforementioned teams for the last remaining playoff spots.
Only the top three teams from Split 4 will advance to the PKL Fall Split. In addition, the top two squads will take home US$700 and US$300 in prize money, respectively.
