QUEZON CITY – Two well-known Filipino PUBG Mobile teams find themselves on the top of the leaderboard after the first nine rounds of the PUBG Mobile National Championship Philippines 2024 Grand Finals inside Araneta City’s Gateway Mall 2.
Top Filipino team Harame Bro saw themselves in first place with 83 points, including two WWCDs as they won Games 3 and 9, both inside Miramar.
Jibna and Jappy tallied four eliminations each in Game 3, with the former assisting two more to lead Harame Bro, while their teammate Orange had put five eliminations and two assists with a game-high 589 total damage in Game 9.
SIN SG, who fought their way in the last chance qualifier last December, took one WWCD in Game 2 and 64 points so far as they won the three-team clash against Harame Bro and all-female team Asteria in Erangel.
NotSoGoodGamez and Elevate Jetz were head-to-head with 64 and 63 points, respectively, despite NGGZ not getting a single WWCD for the entirety of the day.
Warhugs, who won Game 6, amassed 57 points, one point ahead new-look Strangers Esports who had fairly good showings at the latter rounds despite not getting a WWCD.
LOCSE International wrapped up the top seven with 53 points, winning Games 4 and 7 but hadn’t sustained the momentum in the last two games as they didn’t score a point to close the day.
SIN Esports, Asteria, and Playbook Esports wrapped the top 10, only separated by two points between them.
The rest of the teams were only separated by 10 points at the end of the day, including 12th placers 214 Esports, who have won Game 8 but had unsatisfactory results in other rounds including three games with 0 points.
Nine more matches will be played on Sunday, with the top seven teams after 18 total rounds to represent the country in the 2025 PUBG Mobile Challengers League – Southeast Asia Spring.
Catch their games on their official Facebook, Tiktok, and YouTube channels, or watch the teams live inside Gateway 2’s Quantum Skyview Activity Center.
