Fnatic ONIC Philippines writes history as they claim the M6 World Championship trophy as they win four games to one against Indonesian champions Team Liquid ID on Sunday inside the Axiata Arena.
The franchise secured the title on their third attempt after their runs in M1 and M3 as ONIC Philippines, while being the frist team who didn’t drop a series in their entire run.
Gold laner Duane “Kelra” Pillas was hailed as the Finals MVP, his second after winning the MSC 2021 trophy and leading all players in average KDA.
Smooth operations
Kelra led the team in both Games 1 and 2, going for sustain build on his Bruno and tallying seven kills and five assists in 14 minutes.
Borris “Brusko” Parro’s Gatotkaca and Jann Kirk “Kirk” Gutierrez was also impressive in their roles, keeping Christian “Widy” Hartono’s Chou and Aldhia “Aran” Aranda’s Hylos’ levels down.
The Gold Standard once more put on a show with the Bruno as he grabbed six kills and assisted five in a faster Game 2.

Team Liquid ID brought the fight in Game 3 as they dominated FNOP from the start, focusing on Kirk’s Cici the entire match and preventing him from creating space.

Favian “Faviannn” Putra was dominant with his Joy, getting nine kills of 17 for TLID, while Sultan “AeronnShikii” Muhammad added four more with the Granger.

Fnatic ONIC PH however went to a different level in Game 4, completely shutting down TLID with a 21-1, ten-minute bout with only Faviannn’s Suyou scoring for the Cavalry.
Super Frince’s Valentina proved to be a different monster as he put up two kills and 14 assists, while Kelra’s signature Beatrix racked up eight kills and assisted five.
FNOP’s superior map control in Game 5 was too much to handle for Team Liquid ID, losing only two turrets in the 14-minute match.
Going for a full-brawl mode in the last few minutes, K1NGKONG’s Alpha and Kelra’s Irithel was left to attack the exposed TLID base after a skirmish in the top inhibitor turret.
But with the lack of additional damage from TLID, as well as two minion waves in time, Kelra locked his sights on the tower to close the series.
