Team Falcons PH swoop past Bigetron, set all-Filipino semis vs. ONIC PH
JAKARTA – For Team Falcons PH, redemption is a dish best served hot—and they’re bringing it straight to the semifinals.
The Green Falcons held their ground and overpowered Bigetron Esports in a 3-1 series win during the quarterfinals of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: 2025 Mobile Masters on Friday, inside the Tennis Indoor Senayan.
Early game lead
Coming in as Group B’s second seed, Falcons PH quickly imposed their pace in the first two games before weathering a third-game loss and eventually shutting the door on the Red Robots in Game 4.
Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano took charge early with his signature Granger in Game 1, finishing with an 11/1/4 KDA. Despite BTR controlling the early tempo with two Turtle takes, Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson turned the tide by securing both Lords for Falcons PH to complete the comeback and the first win.
The second game followed a similar script. While Bigetron managed to take the only Lord of the game, it wasn’t enough to stop the Falcons’ mid-game surge. Super Marco, this time with the Moskov, bagged another MVP performance with a clean 5/0/3 outing as Falcons PH stood firm in a crucial team fight that wiped out everyone from BTR except Luke “LUKE” Valentinus.
Holding their ground
Game 3 saw Bigetron finally find their rhythm, thanks to Eman “EMANN” Sangco leading the charge with three kills and five assists using the Granger. Marcel Juan “Moreno” Sinulingga also played a key role with his Selena, finishing with a solid 5/1/6 statline as Falcons PH struggled to keep up.
But any momentum BTR tried to build was short-lived.
In Game 4, the Falcons flipped the switch. Captain Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel led the charge with a game-winning Faramis, racking up five kills and six assists in a dominant 13-6 finish. Falcons PH completely shut down BTR’s crowd-control-heavy composition of Zhuxin, Edith, and Kalea—denying them every Turtle and Lord along the way.
With the win, Team Falcons PH advances to the semifinals where they will face fellow Filipino squad ONIC Philippines, setting up an all-Pinoy clash and guaranteeing at least one Filipino team in the Grand Finals on Sunday.
