BTK Joins Honor of Kings Competitive Scene
MANILA — Blood Thirsty Kings enters the Honor of Kings esports battlefield as the North American powerhouse officially announces its foray into the scene.
Led by Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun, BTK brings together some of the most recognizable names in the region’s mobile esports scene. Ian “FwydChickn” Hohl, Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun, Ziameth-Jei “ZIA” Caluya, Vo “Shark” Trung, and Carlos “Bestplayer1” Ortega Vega round out a six-man lineup with deep synergy and championship experience.
While several players had previously streamed and tested the game casually, the team’s commitment now turns professional.
MobaZane expressed excitement about their new chapter. “Honor of Kings is a very unique game with countless talented players and a very refreshing gameplay experience. My team and I are learning fast. We will do our best and rally our communities to quickly catch up with the global regions.”
The entry of BTK signals a growing trend of top talent making the switch to Honor of Kings. This follows recent developments that saw several players creating their own teams. Their addition aligns with the game’s goal to expand its international presence and foster a competitive, diverse, and inclusive environment.
“We can’t wait for BTK to step onto the stage in their first competitive match,” said James Yang, Senior Director of Global Esports Center at Level Infinite, Tencent Games. “BTK’s move to Honor of Kings… clearly demonstrates the appeal of Honor of Kings to professional teams.”
Honor of Kings continues to expand its global esports ecosystem. And BTK’s arrival strengthens the North American presence ahead of future international tournaments.
