Blacklist International repeats over Elevate to end HOK Invitational S3 PH qualifiers on top

MANILA – The code has been broken. Blacklist International is the best Honor of Kings team to end 2024.

The Agents end the year on a high note as they claim a 4-1 victory over Elevate and finish their run in the HOK Invitational Season 3 Philippines Qualifier on the top of the food chain on Saturday.

Each Blacklist member shone in their rematch against the tournament’s surprise package as they show their caliber ahead of the upcoming main tournament in February.

Early-game domination

Chazz’s Dyadia made the difference in Game 1, getting four kills and 13 assists with the support as Blacklist thumped Elevate, 18 kills to three in 11 minutes.

GoldenKite’s Arli and Chammy1’s Biron was also unscathed in the affair, combining for 10 kills and 13 assists as they denied Mitsura’s influence in the game with Mai Shiranui.

Elevate was still outmatched in Game 2 as Blacklist went on to thump them once more, this time under 10 minutes as Ajizix’s Dun was neutralized, falling five times.

Dragon’s Gan & Mo prevailed with five kills and six assists while Juschie’s Yuhuan had a field day, getting a clean 2/0/8 KDA.

Elevate’s time to get one

The open qualifier entrants saw themselves trailing once more throughout the entirety of Game 3 as Blacklist tried to cheese the game by giving Goldenkite the Hou Yi to go against Azar’s Meng Ya.

However, Elevate found an opening as Azar grabbed the Shadow Tyrant while getting four Blacklist members in the prolonged team fight before the 11th minute.

Mitsura meanwhile punished a backdoor play by Chammy1 as he and Hide didn’t let the Liu Bang teleport to the base while the rest of Elevate marched on to call game.

Azar’s 8/2/4 KDA gave him the MVP nod as Juschie’s Dun’s efforts were spoiled with Elevate keeping the gold lead close for the taking.

Code broken

However, Elevate’s chances to tie the series was quickly squashed as Blacklist went on to dominate in 11 minutes to claim a commanding 3-1 lead, 14 kills to only two.

Ajizix’s tanky Menki pick was not in full effect as all but Juschie didn’t fell once, with Chammy1’s Mayene led the game with seven kills and four assists, and Goldenkite’s Loong getting five kills and assisting six.

Game 5 was a tale of two halves, as neither team can snowball the other up until the seventh minute when Blacklist grabbed a slight lead with Juschie’s Augran getting the Overlord.

However, Hide’s Nezha made a crucial play before the 12th minute, stealing the Shadow Tyrant before taking down three Blacklist heroes and pushing the middle towers.

A fight near the Shadow Overlord’s pit became the nail in the coffin for Elevate as Ajizix, Mitsura, and Hide were taken down before taking the major objective.

Juschie soaked all damage coming from three Elevate players far in the bottom lane, leaving Azar and Hide to defend the exposed base against four other Blacklist members to their demise.

Goldenkite’s Marco Polo was crucial in the entire game, getting four kills and five assists, while Chazz’s Zhuangzi assisted 10 to claim the series.

Both finalists, alongside third-placers Rough World Era, will represent the Philippines in the upcoming HOK Invitationals Season 3 in the Philippines from February 21 to March 1.
