Aurora makes quick work of Todak to start ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC – Challenge Season campaign

MANILA – MPL Philippines Season 14 runners-up Aurora MLBB start their 2025 calendar with a win against sleeping Malaysian giants Todak in two games at the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC – Challenge Season on Tuesday.

Aurora, who retained their storied lineup from Season 14 and M6, faced a new-look Todak, who played without Muhammad Danial “Cikugais” bin Mohamad Fuad on their roster and Muhammad Syafizan Najmi “Garyy” Bin Kamarulzaman on their bench, with Muhammad Zaed “Zahyedsempoi” Hakimi and Dhiwa “Deesempoi” Zulpiqar replacing them in the starting spot.

Domeng’s Granger spoils Todak comeback

The Malaysian contingent put up a fight in Game 1 against Aurora, even taking down Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto’s Alpha three times to prevent him from getting any significant plays, but Jan Dominic “Domengkite” del Mundo and Kenneth Carl “Yue” Tadeo turned out to be huge for the Northern Lights.

However, Todak found it difficult to fend off Aurora in the 20th minute with an already exposed base, leaving Demonkite and company to burst down Zahyedsempoi’s Suyou’s Immortality and forced the Malaysian team to retreat.

With the lord secured, Aurora ran to Todak’s base and wasted no time taking it down to finish Game 1 with a 17-8 victory, with Domengkite’s Granger getting the MVP nod with 11 kills and four assists.

Dee can’t answer Domeng, Edward puts dirty work for RORA

The Aurora gold laner went to work once more in the second game as his Irithel went four and five against a hapless Todak side who only took down a turret and failed to secure a major objective in 14 minutes of game time.

Edward, despite getting all three deaths from Todak, was instrumental to Aurora as his Lukas’ play prevented any significant plays from either Muhammad Amy Angelo “Hazelnutsempoi” Bin Erwin’s Hylos and Idreen “Momosempoi” Bin Abdul Jamal’s Hilda.

It was also a quiet game for Deesempoi, whose Bruno only tallied a kill and hadn’t prevented Domengkite from takinf over the game alongside Yue’s signature Valentina and Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse’s Mathilda.

The M6 Filipino representatives will take on MPL Indonesia Season 14’s third placers Bigetron Alpha on Thursday, while Todak will take on Myanmar’s AI Esports.

Escalera’s HB debut spoiled, TLID puts out Flash’s flames

Over the other games, Jomarie “Escalera” delos Santos and Kennt Anthony “Souuul” Baesa’s HomeBois was no match for a returning Albert Neilsen “Albert” Iskandar with his new team EVOS Holy as they went down against the all-Indo squad 2-0.

M6 runners-up Team Liquid ID began their revenge tour on a high as they take down Team Flash KH in two, while Bigetron fended off a pesky AI Esports side while playing their new roamer “Pamelaaa.”
