How we Tested the Phone

We have had the phone for a couple of weeks now. Being avid gamers we installed all our go to games. We included graphics intensive games such as Genshin Impact and Diablo Immortal. We also installed MOBA favorites Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Honor of Kings and League of Legends Wild Rift. Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG Mobile were our FPS games. We used the phones extensively in all setting and put it thru its paces.

We also did benchmarking and stress tests to verify what we experienced during gaming.

The Verdict

In terms of gaming performance in there is no better phone. The ASUS ROG Phone 8 is no long just a gaming phone, the phone has an amazing camera which can record amazing photos and high resolution videos. The phone also rivals flagship phones in terms of performance and design esthetics. The phone is not as loud as it used to be and does not screaming gaming.
