AG.AL rallies from 3-1 deficit to win KWC 2025 title over TT Global

RIYADH — AG.AL etched their name deeper in Honor of Kings history after pulling off a comeback against TT Global, 4-3, to capture the Honor of Kings World Cup 2025 title on Saturday inside the Amazon Esports Arena.

The KPL Spring 2025 champions dug deep after trailing 3-1 in the grand finals, eventually forcing and winning under Ultimate Battle rules to retain their crown as the top team in the world.

AG.AL opened the series strong, relying on Meng “Shuai” Jiajun’s Dolia and Chen “Zoe” Jiahao’s Menki to secure a clinical 8-2 win in just under 12 minutes. Zoe, who eventually bagged the Finals MVP honors, tallied two kills and three assists in Game 1.

But TT Global, who entered the competition by winning the Asian Champions League, responded with three straight wins.

Jiang “Crane” Lijie’s Shi posted a 6/1/12 KDA in Game 2 after a 21-minute grind. Then it was Yue “Snowy” Caiying’s Meng Ya who stepped up in Game 3 with five kills and four assists, overwhelming AG.AL’s backline.

Game 4 saw the closest clash yet, as AG.AL attempted to take control of the Tempest Dragon area, but Wu “Qing” Jinxiang’s Mayene denied the play and pushed TTG to match point after a 24-minute war.

But AG.AL refused to back down.

Xu “YiNuo” Bicheng’s Marco Polo ignited the comeback with five kills in Game 5. Game 6 went the distance with Zoe’s Musashi pulling off a timely backdoor to force a 3-3 tie and bring the finals to Ultimate Battle.

Both teams drafted similar cores — Fatih, Augran, Princess Frost, and Liang — but farm lane picks made the difference. YiNuo went for Arli, while Snowy opted for Hou Yi.

Zoe’s Augran proved pivotal in Game 7, as he scored an early double kill on Qing and Zou “Joy” Weixin, swinging momentum in AG.AL’s favor. From there, the defending champs controlled the map en route to a sub-15-minute win.

AG.AL claimed US$750,000 and 1000 club points for All Gamers, while TT Global walked away with US$460,000 and 750 points. Zoe added US$10,000 to his purse as the KWC 2025 Finals MVP.
