Elevate, ACT secure playoff berths with decisive sweeps
MAKATI — The Philippines Kings League (PKL) Fall Split 2025 featured another night of intensity and playoff drama as Elevate and ACT Esports Club both completed dominant 2-0 sweeps to advance to the postseason.
Elevate took down WETRND Esports with controlled aggression, while ACT displayed remarkable composure to rally past TNT Tropang Alab. With their wins, Elevate and ACT will also represent Philippines for KIC 2025.
Elevate topples WETRND to clinch playoff seat
Elevate asserted their dominance over WETRND Esports with composure and precision, powered by Steven “Haru” Buenaventura’s standout performance on Augran in the opener. The early game was close, but at 14:53, Elevate broke through after claiming the Tyrant and wiping WETRND in a decisive clash capped by Haru’s penta kill. His 5/1/3 KDA earned MVP honors as Elevate swiftly marched down the lane to destroy the crystal.
Eleazar “Azar” Salle’s Aoyin anchored the team’s backline with flawless positioning and three assists, while Elevate’s clean rotations and crisp objective control highlighted their growing synergy. They closed Game 1 with authority, brimming with confidence heading into the second map.
Game 2 was another tight contest until 19:30, when Hide’s Biron led a bottom-lane siege that ended in a full team wipe. His 4/3/6 outing earned him MVP honors and secured the sweep.
From there, Elevate wasted no time storming WETRND’s base to end the match before the 20-minute mark. Azar’s Marco Polo added three kills, while Migss’ Lian Po tallied 11 assists to round out the win.
ACT completes thrilling sweep over TNT Tropang Alab
ACT Esports Club staged an impressive comeback to sweep TNT Tropang Alab, showcasing poise and coordination under pressure.
TNT controlled the early game, holding a 4K gold lead and a 9–2 kill score by 12:15. But ACT stayed composed and slowly turned the tide by winning map control and punishing TNT’s overextensions.
At 15:30, ACT flipped the script with a decisive Tyrant fight, taking down three TNT players to seize momentum. A minute later, they executed a clean top-lane wipe to end the game at 16:43. Charles “Zeipee” Alferez’s Fuzi orchestrated the comeback with 13 assists, earning MVP honors for his flawless setups and leadership.
Ittiphat “Flukeyo” Rawangkarn’s Augran topped the damage charts with eight kills, while Piyaphong “TAOz” Parwthaisong’s Sakeer anchored the frontline with 15 assists and no deaths.
Game 2 was a tense back-and-forth as both teams traded objectives deep into the late game. TNT seemed in control after a 3-for-0 pick at 18:35, but ACT’s veterans refused to back down. With only Zeipee and Taoz left, Zeipee spotted Kevin “Sica” Bitancur’s Nuwa defending alone in the midlane and made his move.
In a daring play, Zeipee dashed straight for the crystal, sealing the game and series in dramatic fashion. He finished with a clean 2/0/3 record for back-to-back MVPs, while TAOz remained unscathed with three kills and two assists.
