MANILA — The MLBB Development League Philippines (MDL-PH) wrapped up the first week of its Season 6 seeding rounds, locking in early play-in positions while setting up crucial bracket battles for the weeks ahead.

KNN Main settled for the 12th seed after back-to-back defeats in Bracket C, while TNC x Voltes PH dropped to the eighth seed following two losses in Bracket B.

AP.Bren Rough World Era (APRW) and RRQ Kaito stormed through Bracket A, booking a head-to-head clash next week for the top seed.

APRW opened strong with a 2-0 sweep over Uncle Drew Gamerpact. Ervin “Vinnn” Franco’s Kimmy dominated Game 1 with a 9/0/4 tally in just 14 minutes, while Ron Matthew “Matt” Papag’s Suyou closed Game 2 with seven kills in another sub-15-minute win.

RRQ Kaito answered with a convincing sweep of Aurora Hunters. Wilbert Alestair “Cull” Salinda’s Bruno anchored a 15-minute Game 1 victory, while veteran roamer Mark Ferry “Dokmen” Nazar guided the squad in Game 2, posting a 3/3/5 Grock performance to secure the sweep.

Aurora Hunters and Uncle Drew Gamerpact now fall to the lower bracket semifinals, where the loser will drop to the fourth seed, while the winner faces the APRW–RRQ loser for a chance at second seed.

The FAITH NOVUS Bravehearts (BRVE) and Team Liquid Academy PH (TLAC) advanced to the Bracket B finals, with the fifth seed on the line.

TLAC took revenge on TNC x Voltes PH, who eliminated them last season, with a 2-1 victory. Masayuki “YukTzy” Fujita carried Games 1 and 3, finishing with 13 kills and 14 assists across the series. Franz “Franz” Joson gave TNCV a lifeline in Game 2 with a flawless Yi Sun-shin (3/0/6), but TLAC shut the door with a dominant 15-minute decider.

The Bravehearts, representing FAITH Colleges, repeated history against Martial Mayhem, pulling off another reverse sweep. Hynrick “SINFUL” Botavara’s Irithel powered Mayhem’s Game 1 win, but Rojan “Nari” Macasaet and Drei Matthew “Reoshi” Laya sparked the comeback, mirroring their MCC Season 2 upper bracket clash.

Martial Mayhem later eliminated TNC x Voltes with a 2-0 sweep. Shan Andre “Cinderella” Bensoy and Hardy “Mijizy” Hurtada Jr. led the Iloilo-based squad, keeping them alive in the fight for the sixth seed.

Crimson, Rock Prime Clash for Bracket C Supremacy

Crimson Esports and H.G. Rock Prime earned key victories in Bracket C, setting up a showdown for the ninth seed.

Crimson outlasted ORVZ Esports 2-1, with Dionel “Diooo” Donoso’s Grock dictating Game 1 and Nixon “Xonn” Jung Ahn sealing the 13-minute decider. ORVZ’s Ram Carlson “Fuze” Masungsong briefly kept the series alive with a stellar Zhuxin outing.

Rock Prime overcame KNN Main in their MDL debut, fueled by Jeff Lawrence “Lawrencio” Balbuena, a standout from BatStateU. KNN struck first behind Jan Kian “Kyano” Requillo’s Lancelot (10/1/3), but Marvin “Miyamura” Comandante’s Fanny responded in Game 2 before Lawrencio’s Kalea closed the series.

In the lower bracket, ORVZ bounced back to sweep KNN. Ivan “Ayban” Diongon’s Joy and Mojahid “Aizu” Buisan’s Harith starred in back-to-back wins, pinning KNN to the 12th seed.

The Crimson–Rock Prime winner secures the ninth seed, while the loser battles ORVZ for the 10th seed.

ONIC x Minerva (OXM) and Team Falcons Academy advanced in Bracket D to set up a fight for the 13th seed.

OXM dismantled Flair Esports in a 2-0 sweep. Jericho “Ricochet” Mendoza took Game 1 MVP honors with seven kills, while Chris John “Shadown” Luciano’s Fanny dominated Game 2 with a 10/2 stat line. Flair’s late-game core picks never found footing as OXM controlled both maps.

Falcons Academy advanced via forfeit after Twisted Minds MDL failed to field a roster. The squad remains in limbo following the two-year bans of five players for league violations, the termination of their BEAR Esports partnership, and the release of the implicated roster.

OXM and Falcons Academy will now duel for the 13th seed, while Flair takes on Twisted Minds in a fight for survival.
