Infinix Campus Cup 2025 ignites Southeast Asia’s student esports scene
MANILA — A new era of campus esports has begun. Infinix, in partnership with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), has officially launched the Infinix Campus Cup (XCC) 2025, a regional tournament designed to turn the spotlight on the next wave of Southeast Asian student gamers.
Running from May to July 2025, XCC 2025 is a major expansion of the former Infinix University League, now encompassing student teams from Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and the Philippines, with Manila set to host the highly anticipated Regional Grand Finals.
“XCC was born from our belief that the future of esports starts on campus,” said Tony Zhao, Infinix General Manager. “This is about more than just winning—it’s about creating a space where young gamers can dream bigger, compete harder, and carve a path toward professional play.”
All roads lead to Manila
Backed by the powerful Infinix GT Series, XCC 2025 gives student teams the chance to clash in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Southeast Asia’s most beloved mobile MOBA, with pride and a massive $30,000 prize pool at stake.
The road to glory starts with Open Qualifiers and Group Stages running from May to June across all five participating countries. Successful squads will advance to their respective National Finals, also set for May to June, where they’ll battle for national supremacy and a ticket to the biggest stage. The Regional Grand Finals will take place on July 2–6 in Manila, bringing together the champions of Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and the Philippines for one ultimate showdown.
The National Finals will unfold as follows: Malaysia takes the spotlight in the third week of May, followed by Cambodia and Myanmar in the second week of June, and then the Philippines and Indonesia in the third week of June.
Prizes and a ticket to the world
Up for grabs are big rewards fit for legends. The Grand Champion will take home $15,000 and 15,000 MLBB Diamonds. The runner-up earns $7,000 and 10,000 Diamonds, while the third placer secures $4,000 and 10,000 Diamonds. Fourth and fifth place will receive $2,500 and $1,500 respectively, plus 5,000 Diamonds each.
But the biggest win? The overall champions earn an all-expense-paid experience to the M7 World Championship in Jakarta, granting them a front-row seat to world-class MLBB action.
Open to students aged 16 and above from senior high schools and universities, the XCC 2025 welcomes both local and international contenders, with parental consent required for under-18 participants.
Registration is now open starting May 1, so it’s time to squad up and chase the dream. Follow Infinix’s official Facebook, TikTok, and Community pages for tournament updates, highlight plays, and future announcements.
