Blacklist, Elevate snag spots for KIS Season 3 as PH qualifiers continue

MANILA – Two teams secure their tickets to the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 as the second day of the Philippine qualifiers conclude on Saturday.

Newcomers Elevate and Honor of Kings Championship 2024 contenders Blacklist International clinch their qualification as they are the two teams facing in the upper bracket finals as they were assured of at least a top-three finish.

Elevate escape Team Flash PH’s flames

Relative newbies to the global HOK scene Elevate continued to soar to greater heights as they drop Team Flash PH to the lower bracket in a full three-game series.

Ajizix’s Augran proved to be Flash PH’s main problem as the Elevate jungler completely dominated his matchup against Saro while dealing six kills and seven assists, while Mitsura’s Princess Frost assisted in eight kills without falling once.

A crucial clash in Game 2 proved to be fatal for Elevate as Azar’s Loong fell while the Tempest Dragon spawned, prompting Flash PH to quickly secure the objective and complete their comeback to level the scoreline.

Elevate turned the tides in Game 3 as their early snowball composition proved to be too much against Team Flash PH with Azar’s Arli’s 4.0.5 KDA leading the charge.

Breaking BOOM’s code

Dragon and Juschie proved to be Blacklist International’s Agents of the day as they decimated fellow HOK Championship contenders BOOM Esports in a sweep.

The one-half of the Dajao twins was the best player in Game 1 as his Shangguan pick tallied six kills and nine assists while Blacklist pulled their Hou Yi pocket pick for Dragon’s brother Goldenkite.

Juschie meanwhile put on a show in Game 2 with a 4/0/7 KDA on his Musashi as Blacklist thumped BOOM 11-1 in 15 minutes.

TNT, Revamp bowed out of contention

Two teams meanwhile said goodbye to the competition as TNT Tropang Alab and Revamp-LFORG conceded their second loss of the qualifying tournament.

TNT suffered a reverse sweep against Team Eureka on the opening match of Day 2 as Haru and Metalwolf led the team in Games 2 and 3 with the Yuhuan and Marco Polo.

Revamp meanwhile bowed down to Rough World Era in a sweep as 7Gin’s Mi Yue and Fleur’s Zhang Fei proved to be too much to their fellow HOK newcomers.

Three LB matches to close Week 1

BOOM Esports, Eureka, Team Flash PH, and RWE will figure out in three matches for the final spot in the upcoming Invitational in February 2025.

Toshi’s BOOM will battle out Jem’s Team Eureka, while Team Flash PH and Rough World Era will feature in the second match of the day.

The winners will then face in the lower bracket semifinals to determine the third team to complete the Filipino delegation to the international tournament, while the two losing teams will bow out of contention.

Catch their games on their official Facebook and YouTube streams.
