The Philippines, selected as the host country, will enjoy an additional slot for its national representatives, allowing three Filipino teams to compete in the S3 Invitational. This event marks the first significant Level Infinite offline tournament to be held in the Philippines.
Global Participation and Slots Allocation
Countries like Indonesia and Malaysia have been allocated two slots each, while America, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Japan, and South Korea will each receive one slot from their respective qualifiers. Statements from Esports Leaders
“The Philippines wields immense potential in esports and has an extensive repertoire of hosting many international events,” said Angelica Neri, Senior Esports Manager of Level Infinite. “Filipino teams Blacklist International and BOOM Esports have also shown incredible prowess by making it to the last 2024 Honor of Kings Championship Playoffs. They have demonstrated great skill, and we are confident in their knowledge and ability in HOK to do well in the upcoming S3 Invitational.”
