RSG, Onic and Blacklist Wins Big in Day 3

RSG, Onic and Blacklist Wins Big in Day 3

RSG Slate SG has been thriving in Group B of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023. The Singapore team has repeatedly beaten expectations by predicting their opponents, EVOS Legends, well. In an interview, Diablo described the Indonesian squad’s team fight as “weak” and “unpredictable.” With a 2-0 score today, RSG Slate SG perfected their Group Stage run with no game loss, earning them a spot in the Knockout Stage and proving the prediction “meta” wrong.

The reigning champion of MPL ID, ONIC, also made quick work of North America’s representatives Outplay. ONIC’s Kiboy described Hoon and Basic’s performance as “the same” as they did in the M4 World Championship when they were still part of The Valley.

Edward’s Benedetta did not participate in team fights (47%) for a good reason. Serving as a distraction allowed Blacklist International to push the lanes further and overwhelm Occupy. The Egyptian-based team is now bound for departure, leaving Blacklist with just one more game for the Group Stage. The former world championship team showed their experience as they dominated the MENA representative. Looking at the Blacklist wins big in the engagement and  looks in superb form with a core of veterans and 2 super rookies it seems that Blacklist international is up there in the favorites to win it all this year.

This also means that fellow Group D team, Todak, has already clinched the Knockout berth ahead of its clash with the former world champions.

Tomorrow’s series is led by FIMP vs. EVO, and all matches will determine further the group ranks and the teams that will make it to the Knockout Stage. We are excited to watch Day 4 and see who will be going to the knock out stage. Will we be seeing new teams or will the super teams rise to the top?
